PARM at the ARFSD-10: Better managing agricultural risks to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs – Media Coverage

As delegates gathered from 23 to 25 April 2024 for the Tenth Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD-10), in the heart of Addis Ababa, PARM participated as the global partnership on Agricultural Risk Management (ARM) engaged in further contributing to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs, in particular SDGs 1, 2, 13 and 17. Organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC), the African Development Bank (AfDB), and other United Nations agencies, the ARFSD-10 focused in “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Agenda 2063 and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: The effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions”. This report details PARM’s interventions during the side event “Harnessing the Potential of Innovative Financing for Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) Implementation”, the SDG 2 main session “Zero Hunger” and the knowledge fair of the event.
