Abstract

This report is drawn from the implementation of the Capacity Development Seminar on Agriculture Risk Management held in Kampala on 1 – 2 July 2015, organized by IFAD/PARM in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industries and Fisheries (MAAIF) of Uganda. The seminar aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and technical skills on ARM and ensuring a common understanding of the holistic approach. It was also an avenue to collect relevant experiences and identify training needs for smallholder farmers to design and plan their own ARM capacity development strategies.
