Senegal – Capacity Development (CD2) Seminar

Abstract

As part of the effort to institutionalize high-level ARM knowledge to create a pool of local ARM experts to advise farmers on managing agricultural risks, PARM in collaboration with NEPAD and the Senegal Ministère de l’Agriculture et de l’Equipement Rural (MAER) supported a five-day training course organized and delivered by the University Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar (UCAD).

The training was held on 9-13 October 2017 in Dakar. It welcomed participants from Niger, Cameroon and Togo. This report outlines the key outcomes and list of presentations delivered throughout the training.
