On 23-26 April 2018, PARM and its partners in Niger organised a regional capacity development seminar on Agricultural Risk Management (ARM) in the Sahel. The four-day event brought together over 25 participants from seven different countries to learn and share experiences in the areas of agricultural risk management, evaluation and prioritization of agricultural risks, ARM tools linked to the Sahel context, and the roles and responsibility for ARM. The ARM training aimed to raise awareness on agricultural risk management and present case studies/ARM initiatives within the Sahel region.
