Over the past three months, PARM has advanced strong advocacy efforts to de-risk agriculture and promote climate-smart investments by engaging key stakeholders at the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF) in Dakar and Climate Week in New York City. These strategic engagements resulted in a renewed call for bold, coordinated action on Agricultural Risk Management (ARM). At the country level, PARM trained over 30 trainers in Burundi on anticipation risk management tools. In Togo, discussions have been initiated with the government following its official request for PARM’s technical assistance to support its commitment to reducing, transferring, and adapting to agricultural risks.
