Over the past years, global, regional and national interests have called for opportunities to develop new tools to holistically manage agricultural risks. As part of the overall initiative, PARM supports capacity development (CD) activities oriented to enhance stakeholders’ understanding of agricultural risks, increase knowledge to identify relevant risk management tools and improve the expertise to use the identified tools appropriately.
This two-page factsheet presents the PARM CD strategy. It summarises the levels/phases of CD in the PARM process, the target trainees, and trainers, the approach and dimensions of focus.
