This report provides a comprehensive and detailed overview of the results achieved by PARM in 2023. The year 2023 was marked by the introduction of PARM’s new methodology of assessing risks along the entire value chain with a gender lens, enabling more tailored risk management strategies and tools. The Platform devoted a prominent role to the private sector through its capacity development, knowledge management and project design activities and processes. PARM’s demand-driven services continued to advance the agricultural risk management agenda at country, regional and global levels.
The Platform will continue working with various partners to support governments in integrating Agricultural Risk Management (ARM) into their national policies, developing the capacities of stakeholders and disseminating best practices that can help them better manage agricultural risks.
