On the basis of the collaboration between PARM and the High Commission for the 3N Initiative (HC3N) during PARM Horizon 1 (2014-2019) and Horizon 2 (2019 – 2025), a project was formulated in October 2022, and resulted in the signing of an aide-mémoire.
This report describes the content of the Market Risk Mitigation Project (PARMN, French acronym) which aims to reduce market risk borne by small agricultural producers in Niger, through the development of adapted tools including collective storage (warrantage), contractualization/ partnership with stakeholders downstream of the market and sales moderately priced.
