Abstract

Small-scale producers of coffee and cocoa in Indonesia grow key crops but are being hard hit by the impacts of the climate crisis.

IFAD’s INSURED programme has been working with partners in the country to improve the availability of climate risk insurance that enables farmers to strengthen their resilience.

INSURED is a technical assistance programme working to strengthen agricultural insurance in IFAD’s portfolio. The programme is generously funded by Sida and implemented by IFAD through the Platform for Agricultural Risk Management (PARM).
